We are living in difficult times, both in the Church and in the world. Now more than ever, ordinary Catholics must fight for the salvation of souls and personal sanctity. Latin is the universal language of the Church, made holy when it was nailed to the Cross with Christ (John 19:19–20). It connects us to the worship of Heaven and strengthens our prayers.
In 2017, I wanted to pray the Rosary in Latin but couldn’t find a podcast to follow. So I made one. It has since grown into a full library of Rosaries, Litanies, Chaplets, and other traditional prayers. I’ve also created Latin learning guides and printable resources, available through Patreon, to help you pray with clarity and confidence, whether on your own or with your family.
This is about restoring Catholic prayer, reclaiming sacred tradition, and forming a movement of families praying daily in Latin for the salvation of souls and the renewal of Holy Mother Church.

The Divine Praises (Laudes Divinae) is an 18th-century prayer. It is traditionally recited during Benediction - but can be used at other times, either in a group or individually.
The prayer was written in Italian by Jesuit priest Luigi Felici SJ (1736–1818) in 1797. It is intended for making reparation after saying or hearing sacrilege or blasphemy / mis-use of the name of Jesus.
It was expanded by Pope Pius VII in 1801, and at some point was translated into English, Latin (and likely various other languages) - the translator(s) are unknown. The English version is sometimes just called "The Blessed be God".
The prayer is traditionally said by having a leader say each line and for the congregation to repeat it - and in this manner,.no visual aids or printed text is necessary (except for the leader).
However other format can be used: the Divine Praises can by prayed individually, or used as the basis of group meditation supported by images and other aids - or in any other way.

Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen, whose canonization as a Saint is in the final steps, was a prominent theologian known for his preaching on television and radio. All of his works are truly a treasure of the Catholic Church and have aided me greatly in drawing closer to our Lord and our Blessed Mother. We named our second son after Archbishop Sheen.

The ancient greyness shifted
Suddenly and thinned
Like mist upon the moors
Before a wind.
An old, old prophet lifted
A shining face and said :
"He will be coming soon.
The Son of God is dead;

All souls.
They wondered if they dreamed ---
Save one old man who seemed

If any had a welcome song prepared.

The Lord’s Descent Into the Underworld
“Something strange is happening — there is a great silence on earth today, a great silence and stillness. The whole earth keeps silence because the King is asleep. The earth trembled and is still because God has fallen asleep in the flesh and He has raised up all who have slept ever since the world began. God has died in the flesh and hell trembles with fear.
He has gone to search for our first parent, as for a lost sheep. Greatly desiring to visit those who live in darkness and in the shadow of death (Luke 1:79), He has gone to free from sorrow the captives Adam and Eve, He who is both God and the son of Eve.
The Lord approached them bearing the cross, the weapon that had won Him the victory. At the sight of Him, Adam, the first man He had created, struck his breast in terror and cried out to everyone: ‘My Lord be with you all.’ Christ answered him: ‘And with your spirit.’ He took him by the hand and raised him up, saying: ‘Awake, O sleeper, and rise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.’ (Ephesians 5:14)

On my back see the marks of the scourging I endured to remove the burden of sin that weighs upon your back. See my hands, nailed firmly to a tree, for you who once wickedly stretched out your hand to a tree.
I slept on the cross and a sword pierced my side for you who slept in paradise and brought forth Eve from your side. My side has healed the pain in yours. My sleep will rouse you from your sleep in hell. The sword that pierced me has sheathed the sword that was turned against you.
Rise, let us leave this place. The enemy led you out of the earthly paradise. I will not restore you to that paradise, but I will enthrone you in heaven. I forbade you the tree that was only a symbol of life, but see, I who am life itself am now one with you. I appointed cherubim to guard you as slaves are guarded, but now I make them worship you as God.
The throne formed by cherubim awaits you, its bearers swift and eager. The bridal chamber is adorned, the banquet is ready, the eternal dwelling places are prepared, the treasure houses of all good things lie open. The kingdom of heaven has been prepared for you from all eternity.’”
